Onyekachi Chimezie - Ex-Super Eagles winger, Finidi George will receive 15 million naira monthly as the head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The former Ajax and Real Betis forward was named the predecessor of Jose Peseiro after the Portuguese two-year stint as the Eagles boss.
In his unveiling by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) which includes the NFF president Ibrahim Gusau, and the Sports minister John Enoh he signed his contract at the event held in Abuja on Monday morning.

“My gratitude goes to @thenff, the Ministry of Sports Development, and Nigerians for the faith.
“The task is enormous but with the support of Nigerians, we will scale every hurdle and bring glory to our fatherland 🇳🇬”, he concluded.
Disclosing the contract terms, it was reviewed that the new Super Eagles boss Finidi George, will earn 15 million naira monthly (180 million) annually which includes bonuses and allowances as add-ons, a performance-based contract of one year with an option to extend after the 2025 AFCON.
His coaching staff consists of former Eagles player Daniel Amokachi who will serve as the first assistant coach, Benjamin James as the second assistant coach and Mehmet Ozturk the match analyst will all be paid on a match-to-match basis.
The 1995 UEFA Champions League winner is expected to carry on with the preparations for the crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa on the 7th of June in Uyo and Benin later on the 7th of June.
