Senegalese youngster, Ousamane Sylla has expressed his desire and readiness to make his MLS debut for Houston Dynamo.
Sylla who was drafted by Houston Dynamo in the 2023 MLS Super draft out of Clemson spoke to ASN Sports TV in this exclusive interview.
ASN Sports TV: I have a budding star here drafted by Houston Dynamo, now that you are in the pro, how do you feel about it?
Sylla: I feel amazing to be here, you know is a good environment and I’m looking forward to make my debut for the team.
ASN Sports TV: Were you disappointed that you could not debut tonight against Sporting Kansas City?
Sylla: First all of we have to put the team first, I’m gonna be patient and wait when I get the chance I will get in.
ASN Sports TV: I know you watched the AFCON 2023 where your country who were defending champions could not defend their crown, how do you feel about that?
Sylla: I think we missed a lot of chances, I know we have guys like Sadio Mane who have been carrying the team and we have a lot of good players. I think we need to give chance to other players coming up you know.
ASN Sports TV: Who is your idol in that Senegalese team?
Sylla: I like Sadio Mane, he is a good role model
ASN Sports TV: I know you will say that because you look like young Sadio Mane, thanks and I wish you all the best.
