Brian White and Ryan Gauld scored to help the Vancouver Whitecaps beat CF Montreal 2-1 in the Final of the 2023 Canadian Championship which earned them a ticket to the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup.
CF Montreal pulled a goal back late through Sunusi Ibrahim, but it was not enough, as Vancouver saw things out to clinch their fourth appearance in the Concacaf Champions Cup.
The Whitecaps previously appeared in the 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2023 editions, with their best finish being in the semifinals of the 2016-17 tournament.
