“I think is a great game to build on we were really good on the ball. We executed the game plan, we wanted to exploit the wide areas and just be more ruthless in the box, and at the finals third, we need to finish our chances, it is another game to build on, and am proud of my team for fighting” She added.
The former University of Alabama defender said that this season is reminiscent of last season where they started slowly but acknowledged that this team, is new, and it may likely take a bit of time for them to gel as a team.
“ Last season we also had a tough start and this is a brand new group of players, we have to gel together on and off the field, right now off the field we are great we are staying together and everything we just want to work and get better every single day and that's the altitude that will take us to the next level to get those wins” she emphasized.
Meanwhile, Gotham City NJ/NY has only two points in their opening 3 games of the current NWSL season.
